On behalf of CTS and Consign Construction Skills I am pleased to invite Construction Employers based in the East of England to a Construction Breakfast forum at CTS premises on Tuesday 3rd November to learn about two apprenticeship schemes specifically designed for businesses like yours in the current tough economic climate. The breakfast forum will start at 7.30am and finish about 9.30am.
CTS and Consign have joined forces to deliver two apprenticeship schemes involving partly trained young people and displaced trainees to enable them to complete their qualifications.
Scheme 1. "Employer recruited" for businesses who offer full-time employment to provide up to 12 months work experience to enable the apprentice to complete their qualifications.
Scheme 2. "Apprentice shared" for 2 or more small businesses who are unable to offer full-time employment but can offer up to 12 months of work experience for the apprentice arranged between them. A third party host employer will provide the employment element.
The support for each apprentice placement includes;
* assistance with recruitment and induction
* onsite assessment and monitoring of progress
* help with the application of grants from Construction-Skills upto £2950
* working with employers to ensure the apprentices' safety and well being
* providing a short period of wage subsidy (typically 3 weeks probation to ensure employer trainee compatability)
Spaces are limited, please contact Kyle on 01603 610586 to reserve your place.
we look forward to meeting you and explaining the schemes in more detail.
