CTS Ltd regularly attends careers events and construction forums to promote careers in construction and to provide opportunities to partner with other construction related companies.

CTS Ltd attended a exhibition based at the Norfolk Show Ground during
8th and 9th October 2009. The event was aimed for those at school or college who are considering a career in the Construction industry with a wide range of exhibitors covering both the trades and professions with plenty of opportunities for hands on experience of various aspects of the industry.

Our Director, Gavin Springall, was invited to be one of the key speakers at the Homelessness and Worklessness conference based at The Kings Centre, King Street, Norwich on Thursday 21^st September 2009. The conference was designed to bring together leading trailblazer authorities, housing associations and service users to showcase a variety of ways to h

ave a better integrated, holistic and locally responsive approach to homelessness and worklessness. (http://www.norwich.gov.uk)

CTS Ltd has created a niche in the Training and Education market that extends and enhances the work that is traditionally carried out by FE. We work closely with construction employers to provide specialist training for apprentices, unemployed trainees and experienced workers to enable employment need to be met with confidence. We currently have access to over 200 employers in the Eastern Region and they request courses that are specific to the needs of their company – including the criteria for the trainees that they are looking to employ. We work with the companies to try to match Personnel to the roles by ensuring targeted training takes place for skills that will enable sustained employment to become a real prospect for committed individuals.

CTS are proud to be able to work with Norwich City Council and employers on community housing renovation and repair projects. CTS provide skills development courses to enable individuals to contribute to community projects on a highly skilled level. 

Construction Training Specialists was once again nominated for 2 awards at the East Of England Awards 2009, “Training Provider of The Year” and “Business Link in Education” award. The night was held at Radisson SAS Hotel London Stansted Airport on Thursday 1st October 2009.

Many of CTS’ Staff attended the awards evening, including two new staff members Yvonne Baines, Finance and Kelly Kenny, Senior Administrator. Even though we were not successful at the awards we were nominated for, we are still very proud to be nominated alongside many larger companies such as Morgan Ashurst, Colchester Institute. A great accolade for a private provider.
